VSX-LX302 Network AV Receiver Boosts Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X™ Audio Reproduction to the Top of the Class

Pioneer & Onkyo Europe GmbH announce a new VSX-LX302 network AV receiver featuring supremely clear and accurate Dolby Atmos and DTS:X playback in home theater environments tailored for optimal sound reproduction by Pioneer’s MCACC calibration technology. Network streaming platforms comprise Chromecast built-in, DTS Play-Fi^®, and AirPlay, while streaming services including Spotify^®, TIDAL, TuneIn, and Deezer are on board and ready to enjoy. These features operate over stable dual-band Wi-Fi^® along with FireConnect™ powered by Blackfire enabling wireless audio distribution to optional network speakers. Hi-Res Audio playback is optimized with 384 kHz/32-bit digital-to-analog conversion, and for movie lovers with compatible 4K televisions, there’s Dolby Vision™, HDR10, HDCP 2.2, and BT.2020 video pass-through via HDMI^®.

Pioneer Introduces 5.1-Channel VSX-832 and 7.2-Channel VSX-932 Network AV Receivers Supporting Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X™

Pioneer & Onkyo Europe GmbH today unveils two new network AV receivers, the 5.1-channel VSX-832 and 7.2-channel VSX-932. The former model is first to support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X reproduction though 3.1.2-channel layouts, and the latter offers object-based audio reproduction through 5.2.2 channels. The AV receivers incorporate Pioneer’s exclusive MCACC automatic sound adjustment technology and convenient audio streaming via Chromecast built-in, DTS Play-Fi^®, Spotify^®, TIDAL, Deezer, and TuneIn over a stable dual-band Wi-Fi^® connection. FireConnect™ powered by Blackfire delivers wireless multi-room audio, allowing network and analog sources connected to the AV receiver to be played on optional speakers. Other highlights include 384 kHz/32-bit DAC, a refined GUI, and video pass-through of Dolby Vision™, HDR10, and BT.2020 via HDCP 2.2-compliant HDMI^®.
